Legacy Training, Inc. was founded with a deep sense of gratitude and a commitment to creating lasting, meaningful change. Originally established as Legacy Training and Development, Inc., the organization was co-founded by Robert Anthony Ketchens and me—two individuals who overcame challenges that many others have not survived. Our lived experiences inspired us to combine our professional expertise, creative passions, and dedication to community service to build something that truly gives back.

At Legacy, we believe training is more than just learning a skill—it’s about transformation. Every program, workshop, and event is designed to empower participants with knowledge, fresh perspectives, and a renewed sense of purpose. We collaborate with subject matter experts in health and wellness, along with accomplished teaching artists, to provide resources and opportunities to communities that might not otherwise have access to them. Our approach is multicultural, intergenerational, and innovative, ensuring a lasting impact.

As a nonprofit organization, Legacy Training, Inc. envisions a world free from poverty of the mind, body, and spirit. Our mission is to promote health, expand access to the arts, and improve legal education—empowering underserved communities throughout the Delta Region and beyond.

Through strategic partnerships and evidence-based initiatives, we address critical issues such as health disparities, professional development, and community empowerment. Whether through leadership training, wellness education, or outreach programs, Legacy Training, Inc. remains a trusted resource for fostering positive transformation and creating equitable opportunities for all.
